We had high expectations so we're disappointed by our visit to the condor park. In all fairness, we may have enjoyed it more if we'd been able to stay for their daily flight show. Most of the displays are in Spanish which meant we didn't...More

Usually I'm not into bird parks, Birds should be flying around in teh open air. But here they have mostly injured birds who are not capable anymore to live in the wild. The bird show is cool, and some birds of prey have the chance...More

Sitting on the next mountain from a volcano the sights are incredible and so are the birds. It is not an overly large place, similar to a small zoo, but devoted to birds. They do shows and have people to tutor about the birds but...More

Situated in wonderful place with nice view on Otavalo. The only way how to get there is taxi from Otavalo, the entrance fee is a little bit high compate to what you see inside. The show is only in spanish and nothing exceptional.

This park is located in a great spot, high on a hill with beautiful views over Otavalo and the surrounding mountains. It's quite a sight to see a condor flying overhead. They have many birds on display, however we felt like some of them had...More

We've gone there twice. It sits far up on a hill above Otavalo, has a large variety of hard to see birds, including a Harpy Eagle and a pair of condors. It's a rescue facility. The cages are natural looking, and some of the birds...More

It pains the heart to see these kings of the skies in cages, but it is done to preserve the species most of the time. A nice two to three hour visit.

Interesting bird flight demonstrations, but, only Spanish spoken. Paths steep and constructed of large stones, so not suitable for those who have difficulty walking or use wheelchairs or buggies or buggies

Great flying display whilst looking over the hills and surrounding mountains. Unfortunately didn't understand much of the blurb about the birds as all in Spanish, but enjoyed holding the kestrel at the end.
