Located in the Old Town, this beautiful museum house belonged to one of the richest people in Ohrid. It is definitely worth a visit. Easy to find.

This house belonged to one of the richest families in Ohrid. There is a permanent exhibition of items used in the daily lives of the rich people, beautiful wood - carved ceiling, made by the Ohrid and Struga masters.

I thought at first that it was only a traditional house that we could visit and it is such on one side of it. The other side has been transformed into a small archaeological museum. Some rooms are very poorly lit, until you reach the gem of the house: the gold room. Very impressive finds.

Beautiful architecture, odd that the narrowest floors are on the bottom. Unique concept my friend explained to me.

The Robev family was a prominent family of Ohrid. The house was later donated by the family to serve as a museum to house archaeological finds... More

Reminiscent of Balkan houses in Bulgaria with carved wooden ceilings and heavy furniture, this has been nicely restored and has great views of the lake. The house opposite is close enough to touch. Some nice furnishings and really impressive staircases

Should carry the word National in it. This museum doesn't have any added value to visit. Besides a very small collection of archaeological object not much to see and you have to walk a lot of stairs. I have different expectations of a museum carrying National in its name.

This impressive (double) house belonged to the families of two wealthy brothers. It was restored and now houses some of the excavated Roman and Greek artefacts of the region. There's hardly any explanatory sign so it looked like a rather dull visit (as some people here have remarked as well). But then one of the museum 'guards' came with "the... More
