My friends and I dove the El Aquila wreck while staying at Anthony's Key. It is only about a 10 minute boat ride from their dock. The wreck lies in 110 feet of water at the keel and has several resident groupers. The sandy area around the wreck is home to a large colony of garden eels and the wreck... More

I got to dive this wreck as part of my advanced course and what a treat it was! 107 feet to the sandy patch near the wreck- saw lots of grouper and garden eels! Fireworks on some parts of the mast! The wall nearby is a great place to level up and extend dive time!

Great viz, nice wreck with few good swim through. Eel garden, a few morays and tons of huge groupers. And a nearby reef for the second half of the dive.

Just returned from a week visit to this hotel where we stayed in a 'bungalow' with a sea view on a all inclusive basis. I put the word bungalow in quotes because unless the word means something different in Greek, they are not bungalows. They are in fact two storey terraced blocks. We did however have a sea view although... More

Dive starts deep along the flanks of the ship. You continue across the decks, then up a coral encrusted canyon to the extraction point. Short dive, but what do you expect for 100+ feet?

Decent modern wrek, broken up by hurricanes, in about 100 feet. Home to about 6 friendly and large groupers

Ship wreck (sunk in 1998) with a tunnel to dive below, inhabited by a friendly green moray and lots of big groupers!

You have to go to see by yourself. For wreck lovers and begginers is a nice spot to dive. Reach sea life.
