Divine & Nice !

I visited this place of divinity and tranquility on 16th February. I prayed in the ⛪and spent some time there. The place is the symbol of divinity.

This is an impressive building for Goa and its 400 year age. I am not a religious person but the architecture and art held my attention for half an hour. Visiting gave a glimpse of past Portuguese catholic glory.

Guides are very informative but you need to ask them to go slowly - a lot of information delivered with the rapidity of a machine gun.

A UNESCO world heritage site at lush green beautiful old Goa. Mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier kept here. Most respected christian monument speaks glory of Goa.Give utmost peace. 5-6 hours needed to visit all churches around this holy monument.

In the area of Old Goa with lots of other religious buildings. This one was busier than the others with lots of people taking selfies which is not allowed. Very crowded. Worth a visit if you are in Old Goa. Along with the other buildings.

It's the oldest churches of Goa.... peaceful and silent. Feel nice as it gives a sense of peace within yourself.

Its a decent place, very crowded though. The corpse of St Francis is visible from a distance. You can get excellent photos of the dome.

I visited this place only because it is one of the world heritage sites in Goa. Otherwise there is nothing much. The place is nicely maintained, calm and clean. The entry is free so the place is generally full of visitors, . Since this is a bit far off from the coast line, so you would need to plan a... More

We visited three churches in Old Goa with this one the most hyped one. It is a good old church with corpse of St.Francis Xavier viewable from far. However the amount of crowd attraction it has makes it the least pleasant experience. It can be covered in non-peak day for a good experience.

The Basilica's imposing exterior itself makes one wonder at its construction. But the interior is awe inspiring. The beautiful altars and bedecked statues literally take your breath away. And the remains of St Francis have to be seen, to be experienced at least once.
