This is an area that is more well known to the locals. This was brought up as something we should see by one of the locals I was speaking with and so glad we went there. And the timing was perfect - it was a few minutes before sunset and the lighting was gorgeous. It was peaceful, beautiful, and took... More

These are beautiful cenotaphs in dilapidated condition. They are basically tombstones of the royalty, belonging to the Jadeja rulers. The entrance is so narrow that one can easily miss it. (We had to ask a local for the entrance!!) But the expanse of the garden, where the cenotaphs are situated, is quite large. One can spend some 20-25 minutes visiting... More

1km from the bus station is this location which is open 24 hrs. Although the looks of it demands ticket, but no one is bothered. Better than other places in Bhuj

Its been shattered into pieces due to the 2001 earthquake and has not been reconstructed since then. Only 3-4 standing sculptures can be spotted. Architectures should visit this place, as its something that might interest them.

A good place to see some architectural marvel work. Most of the structures are ruins yet they give a sense of pride of their prime time. Have to be careful of weak structures, there are plenty of eyesore supports and warning signs.

The chtaradi are on one corner of lake and offers good sunset pics but you can find better chattardi at various other places in rajasthan and Banswara However its unique as its adjacent to lake and gives great backgrounds

This place was greatly affected by the Bhuj earthquake and several structures were damaged. Shows opulence of burial grounds of kings.
