This mountain is majestic and really looks like the head of an elephant. You can view it from far. We did not do any trekking this time but next time we surely plan to do trekking. The view here was just beautiful.

It is in ervikulam national park . I gone during monsoon so i cant view the peak but i viewed nilagiri tahr . The stafs are so much helping all.

It's a good place to spend some time with your loved ones but you can give it a miss also. Trekking is not allowed here. Just spend some time there and enjoy the hill.

Its a great view. You can see clouds passing from below and the anamudi peak at another side. A water fall is also seen coming from the top of the peak. Nature at its best..!

You can enjoy with Body touching clouds one side and other side entire Natural Tea gardens. Better time to visit is Monsoon time. This is inside Erivakulam national park. you can see Forest Goats also there at this site

No, Trekking (hiking) to Anamudi is not allowed for tourists. Since the peak is located in the core zone of Eravikulam National Park, permission to enter peak is not provided, unless for research and study purposes.
