It was very green may be we visited when it was raining and the season was the right one. We saw loads of butterflies and bees. Except monkeys we did not sight any other animals.

This is a must visit place in my view. You need to take guide with you for any tour here in chinnar. Pre historical rock painting and the trek through forest is a good experience and the waterfall is really very good.

You have to be very luck to spot a wildlife here. Seriously my visit to there was disappointing. Sometimes you have to stand in a long queues to get the ticket.

this is the best place to do night safari....possible to see the group of wild elephants,deers,bysons etc.....this is 50 km away from munnar town on the way to coimbatore......

Better stay at Kanthalloor, known for organic farming. Many people cultivate apple, grapes, strawberry etc here. The journey from Kanthallor to Chinnar will be a soothing experience for you. Please inbox if you need more info
