Stunning 5th-9th century Hindu caves, mainly focussed on Shiva. Lots of monkeys and cafes on the island too - always a plus. Go and marvel.

You have to buy ticket for you at Gate Way of India. Many small ships/boats are there. No need for special or prior booking.

Near elephanta caves there are no hotels but lots of restaurants where you can take rest and the visit of elephanta caves for 4 to hours
