this place is hailed in comparison to golden temple, but it is an extremely ill maintained unit.it is located practically on the road (hardly 300 meters from main road.). totally unclean. dirty pool water surrounding main temple. inside, it is just another temple. go with least expectations.

Just like any other temple. Nothing special. Durgaini temple is a much smaller setup. The main temple is Laxmi Nara Yana temple modeled after Golden Temple

Not very well maintained but a huge pond is a big surprise. Went there by chance and astonished to see another divine beauty of Amritsar. We sat on Hip on hip off bus tourist service

It is a joy walking through the Sikh temple; part of a throng of men, women and children. Males wearing turbans or simple orange head scarves that you can pick up on site. The sounds of amplified reading of their holy books waft through the air. The visual of the moat and Gold Temple in the center of the complex... More

Its a peaceful and nice place to visit with family. Its is somewhat copy of harmindar Sahib but its not a place to miss. Cleanliness is a matter of concern here.
