It is very sad to read that innocent people who were protesting and struggling peacefully in order to free India from British domination has been killed. Dedicated as a memorial to innocent people mercilessly made martyrs to the cause of independence by a Tyrant who ordered firing incessantly at a peaceful gathering in the year 1919. The gardens bullet ridden walls and the Well that hundreds jumped into to escape the attack stand testimony to the lives lost in India's struggle to rid the British of... More

We have all read about this place in our history books. The place starts with a narrow lane that opens into a garden. There isn't much to see here, but you should still visit this place, look down the martyr well, and at the 2 walls with bullet marks.

Next to the golden temple, the place is maintained in a very decent manner. From the outside, the crowd seems too much, but inside, you have plenty of space to breathe.

I have visited Jallianwala Bagh with my wife. Located near Golden Temple. Bullet Marks are still there that shows the General Dyre's Atrocious massacre. Lots of shop and food junctions are around it. You can buy beautiful Panjabi Suits here.
