Huge pillars of rock are a sight to behold. Please visit on a clear day else it can be covered by clouds and mist. Sheer gigantic magnificence is worth a visit

We went to Kodaikanal 2 years back. It was during June month, and the climate was remarkable. The view from this particular viewpoint really outstanding and you will feel like you are in Pandora (The Place in Avatar Movie.)

If you are travelling anywhere on this planet to hills and mountains, believe me you will get thousands and millions of view points on your way to and back. No point in wasting money and time on doing this stupids tour packages where they charge you on single destination basis and let you end up in visiting these places.

Nothing special of the place. Just on the way so you have to be there. There is also a ticket for the view though very nominal. But you don't need it because the view is available from the road side itself.

Pillar Rocks is a must see attraction if you are going to Kodaikanal, the huge pillar shaped rocks and the awesome view from there will attract eveyone. The pillar rocks is about eight kilometers from the lake and is easily accessible by road, the mini garden near the view point is another attraction where we can spend some time watching... More
