A memorable moment in Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. On a relaxing bike ride you will visit the main highlights and a few hidden gems of what was the most splendid city of the East. Board a gorgeous converted rice barge where you will enjoy a Thai feast and take in this incredible cruise.

My wife and I took the Rail, Road and River tour with Ayutthaya Boat & Travel as a day trip out of Bangkok while on our honeymoon. Our tour guide spoke excellent english and provided a lot of information about the historic city. Though this was a group tour, there was only one other couple with us. The train ride... More

I found this full day tour of Ayutthaya Temple and River Cruise from Bangkok with Viator on trip advisor. Collected from my hotel at 7.30 by mini bus & transferred to offices where coach was waiting. We travelled an hour north to our 1st stop The Summer Palace a complex formerly used by Thai kings, a chinese style palace with... More

The guide, Donna, is an attraction herself! Funny, attention and expert in her job! The visits in the 3 temples were amazing. But the cruise boat in the return to Bangkok is totally dispensable! Not good views from the city, ugly side of Bangkok. No good food, actually I saw some cockroaches in the restaurant part of the cruise and... More

We were driven up to the dock where the boat was, after a tour of the Ayutthaya Ruins. We thought, uh oh, this looks like a nightmare, broken down buildings and scrap everywhere. Well, we were wrong! Getting on board the boat, we found it to be very comfortable. We were sat down for a meal with six others. It... More

A (simple) boat tour in the afternoon (4-6pm) to visit 3 temple complexes next to the river. Nice to see town from an other perspective.

Our tour with Grand Pearl Cruise from Bangkok to Ayutthaya was superb. 7am they picked us up in nice van and took us to River City Center to board a larger coach. For the 2 hour drive to Ayutthaya the brilliant guide Khun Andy explained Thai history and development with style and amusement. First stop was the Summer Palace, which... More

We booked this for our first day in Bangkok to get over the jet lag. It was a perfect experience. Until we visited, we didn't realize how big Ayutthaya is. It can be done on your own by bike, but having someone show you the way helped a lot. I would not have wanted to try and find my way... More

Went on the Aytthaya Boat & travel tour as we didn't want to go back by road. The tour guid was full of information and was a great host. As most of the reviews have said you don't get enough time in Aytthaya which is true! A mini bus picked us up at the hotel at 6:30, and we drove... More

They picked us up at 6:30 AM and given Bangkok traffic it took us an hour to get to the central bus. Then we got on a very old coach read decorated in the psychedelic party fashion. We rode an hour and a half to the first stop. Which was the Palace of the king you need to take your... More
