Only if your kids are dying to have the experience

You want to give them a treat then go ahead, but really not worth the money. If you are an animal rights person, stay very far away from this place!

Rode an elephant for the experience. The ride was with the elephants Mahout and my driver/guide to Damnoen Saduak. The elephant followed a route that went through pathways and water pools, and at one juncture the Mahout asked for my cellphone, got off the elephant and took pictures of us. Before the ride, we were urged to buy some fruits... More

For the elephant ride it was really highly priced. But good that they had option of meeting Karen Tribe people. Those who are interested must meet Karen tribe there and do not forget to take money with you as they sell selfmade various things.

This was just.. absolutely terrible. We thought we would go on a joy ride.. don´t know why we expected that, but it was obvious the elephants had a bad time, and as such, so did we.. poor things. Please don´t visit, wasn´t even fun at the beginning. The elephant rider kept saying "tip tip, for elephant food". Use your money... More

I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but this is just another tourist attraction built to extract holiday money from the tourists pockets as quickly as possible. I guess if you have never ridden on top of an elephant, that it might be interesting, but it is not on my list of things to do while on holiday. Almost all... More

I visited here with my family including 2 young daughters. They really enjoyed seeing and touching the elephants during and after the ride. It is a fun thing to do while in the area. Enjoy!

At the end of the floating market tour we arrived to this attraction, We paid 1000 BHT per ride (2 pax) (~30 US$) to have a 15 minutes ride. I liked the experience and had great photos when the man responsible of directing the elephant stepped down and took us many photos using our camera. At the end of the... More

great chance to get close and personal with the pachyderm. very tame and friendly with great guides. well fed and treated animals. it is not every day you get a chance to go for a ride sitting on a jumbo and it is just down the road from the floating market.

Only great thing is it is close to the floating market. So, if you want to see elephants you can. You can feed one for 100 bahts. Not sure about riding as we did not have time.

This was included in our floating market tour, I'd recommend the places where u don't ride the elephants (Chiangmai is good if your going that way) felt sad for them tbh.
