Vastly beautiful

Mile long beach with a nice peninsula. The resorts don't spoil it and one feels very secluded. Really good fun when the tide goes out too.

This beach is heavenly. The most serene place for a solo traveler who is looking for some peace and looking forward to get to know themselves. From the very minutes of the morning till after the sun goes down it is possible to swim. There is of course tide, but who cares? Walk a little bit more into the sea.... More

Long beach with soft sand that makes for a great walk along the shoreline. To go swimming, you need to go out very far, so it's not ideal. Lot's of restaurants along the beach to eat at. So Good was by far the best restaurant on the beach, having delicious nightly barbecues and fire dancing for entertainment.

This beach is spectacular... Almost empty but beautiful, clean and seimmable during both high and low tides.

This is the best beach on the island. Beautiful white sand walkable and swimmable at high AND low tide. If you're looking for a hotel don't go too far south. It gets rocky in the water and there is a drainage pipe that nobody talks about down there. Stay in the mid to mid north section. But don't go too... More

You will not be alone, but it will be great anyway. Nice, long beach, good for long walks and sunbathing, with many options for a meal. About 1 kilometer from Sala dan (we stayed there and walked over several times).

This is a great beach for families with children as the water is shallow for a long way. The beach is quite long and broad, so it never looks overcrowded. The western side of the beach is particularly attractive as it curves to a wooded headland and still has a forested edge just before the headland. Wide enough beach for... More

Great for walking, swimming and plenty of places for lunch and drinks. Very shallow, so prepare for some meters of walking before swimming

This beach is probably 3km long, sand all the way, swim just about everywhere, pretty much child safe, not shelving sharply, warm & blue, walk this beach with ease, not crowded, just a few bars to get a drink,
