The walk up to the viewpoints isn’t too bad, take your time and perhaps avoid the midday. The best time to be up there is 9/10am due to the positioning of the sun and make sure to be up there at high tide to get the beautiful turquoise beach view, as the beach does drain almost completely during low tide.
Walk through the first viewpoint and get to viewpoint 2 for the best view. You can walk directly to viewpoint 2 if you don’t like stairs up more of a nature track which starts at the beach.
Sunset is also insane, keep watching even if you don’t think there’s going to be much of a sunset as it might just surprise you.

Beautiful view from the top, come rain or sunshine. Sweaty walk uphill, but definitely worth it. Just a small cost to enter.

Great view and small fee of 30 baht to do so. Privately owned location hence the small fee to get up to it. But the best view of the island so worth it.

Absolutely a must if you have time. Do not stop at first viewpoint even though you are running with sweat 😊. Beautiful view at the top and you can buy refreshments.

Put on your comfortable shoes and bring water! Its a lovely walk but uphill all the way and the paths are just beaten tracks.

Worth the climb for the stunning views.
There are 3 view points on Phi Phi Island, View point 1 is the lowest then View point 2 and Viewpoint 3 being the highest.

I would advise that anyone who struggles with walking I would stick to View point 1 or 2 as 3 took us 2 hours on very weird tracks, Definitely worth it though :)

If you are over let’s say 19? don’t go to this island... it’s like spring break in Ft Lauderdale Florida every night, only sprinkle eurotrash too. It does not matter where you are on this tiny island you will hear the music every night pounding til 2am, and smell the sewage. There were pee-pool parties playing bad techno, competing with bad hip hop at the same volume next door, competing with bad pop etc etc- along the whole beach and drunk frat bros as far as the eye could see. And there wasn’t a morning I was there were I didn’t find fresh broken glass on the beach. Its filled with tattoo parlors and fast food. The diving is 3x the cost of Koh Tao, and its way way worse... I saw maybe 4 types of fish, and was taken to a garbage artificial reef for my first dive- with literally 2 lion fish and some nudy branches- Ph Phi Ley has more variety and better coral, but it’s still nothing compared to the other side of Thailand. I decided not to shell out anymore money on more dives after how awful the first 2 were... In 2 trips to Thailand this was by far the worst place I’ve been too. Which is a shame because the island itself was beautiful and the locales were kind. I would love to give them the business if this place wasn’t hell on earth too, as it was hit so hard in the 2004 tsunami- it really was that awful though- had I not prebooked my ferries and flight back to Bangkok, I would’ve fled after the first night... please take my advice, and go literally anywhere else.

Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint is a must for anyone visiting this tiny island. There were some steep step to trek to the top. Not going to lie, my friends and I were running out of breath & had to stop for a mini break before resuming on our hike. I recommend bringing water. There was an entry fee of 30 baht per person. When you get to the top, there's a small convenient shop with seating to buy water or snacks. the view was breathtaking. The view overlooks the entire island. One of my favorite spots in Thailand!

After walking up what felt like thousands of steps In 32 degree heat we arrived at the first viewpoint. This was the nicest view I had ever seen……
Then I hit the second view point. Breathtaking is an understatement. Apart from a downpour which only lasted 15-20 minutes. We managed to take photos and return down the never-ending steps for a cold beer.
10/10 must do.
