This place is just awesome, read a lot about it, saw many pictures, but nothing can actually justify the beauty of the place! Must visit!! Though after visiting this, other islands just look not so beautiful, in comparison!!

We decided to take a boat to Maya Bay after a morning storm. Best decision ever! There were only a handful of boats there so it was like having the beach to ourselves!!

This would have to be one of the most beautiful places in Thailand. Although the beach was closed (to give it time to rejuvenate) there was still access to the cove, which you can get into at high tide. So nice swimming there. Now time...More

The place is heaven but a crowded heaven. Thai Govt has closed this place from 01ST JUNE 2018 TO 30TH SEPTEMBER 2018. We were lucky enough to visit this place in May 2018. There is a way to go inside the island also. The place...More

The views are indeed gorgeous, the water is clean and warm, however expect it to be VERY crowded. Depending on the time of the day you arrive (most day-trips will take you there in the morning/early afternoon), it is bound to be overcrowded - we...More

Note: there is a 400 baht charge for entering the area! If you’re looking for any type of photos, definitely try to be here as early as you can but ensure it’s safe to do so with the sea water level. Typically 6/7am if possible!...More

Yes it’s claim to fame is the movie “ The Beach”. It’s a tiny beach stretch with hundreds of tourists and more than half the shoreline taken up by parked speedboats. It spoils the pleasure and the beauty of the place. One cannot walk nor...More

On the news the other day it said for FOUR months. Also as an FYI Phi Phi will also be virtually shut down as it’s the close season when they build and repair for next season starting in November.

Yes it is unfortunately closed. I would personally suggest you to look at Krabi, over PhiPhi islands. Its less explored, secluded & a place to be as a couple to enjoy the togetherness

It’s unfortunate you will miss Maya Bay when you visit but so many other places to enjoy so don’t let that spoil or change your plans. Back in March we were based on Bangtao Beach in Phuket and went on 3 tours in total... More
