The sitting Buddha (Phra Achana) is overwhelming. Just beautiful. If in Sukhothai, visit it. It's close to Wat Phra Phai Luang. There are some shops at the entrance selling memorabilia, drinks, postcards... There's also toilets.

Other than Wat Mahathat this is the other of my 2 "must see" things in Sukhothai. Very impressive even for someone like me who usually isn´t too much into these attractions (temples, ruins etc). Highly recommended!

We love this site as much as Sukhothai Historical Park. Not so hot cycling around the park as there are big tress along the road. We stopped at each temple for our guide,Mr Oat to tell us stories.Great guide knowledgeable guide.
