I would say this is the signature temple inside the park and worth all of its hype. In the morning this is where most photographers go for the morning sunrise photos.

This temple was simply stunning. Especially at sunset when the sun gave you that perfect photograph. A must do and one of the reasons people come here.

Location Wat Mahathat Sukhothai Historical Park I like best the northern part of ThaiLan. place was beautiful even though it was really hot and humid. Here, i am very well and cheaply dined.

even this temple is not as famous and outside of historical park it is worth to visit - just few hundrets meters (really no distance by bike....) and relaxing as nearly no tourists here :-)

So worth it to stop here in Sukhothai one night to see this, wow! Entrance fee 100 baht + 20 for your bicykle.

This is the main temple of sukhothai historical park. Many pagodas and Buddhas. Truly amazing at sunset.

100 bath entrance fee. It's beautiful place. Riding with a bike thru the park is amazing. Also not many tourists. Nice shops and restaurants in the proximity

I often visit Wat Mahathat and I have never seen and have never heard of daily meditation classes at this ancient ruin. Just visit, sit and enjoy the peaceful surrounds.
