We cycled here from Phittsanolouk. Arrived in the afternoon so went to guest house. First tthing in the morning we biked over to the rear of the park. Entrance was free for a few months after the death of the Thai King. We thought the park was well cared for. It is so peaceful as you walk around. There are... More

there are 6-7 major temple areas of note, some of which have taller structures than any in Sukhothai. the temple surrounded by elephant statues is particularly interesting, as is the large one featuring several kinds of stupas. there are also a couple of big temples up on the hill overlooking the site. this park doesn't have any water features/moats like... As part of the Sukhothai and Kamphaeng Phet temple complexes, this site is a well-preserved collection of wats and temples, dating back to the 13th century.

A lovely setting and very peaceful. Some of the reliefs are well preserved. Go early in the morning as the light is great..You can imagine how grand it was. You can see how the sculptures were made up with lastelite and plaster.especially on the elephants surrounding the main Chedi

As you stroll or bicycle through this historic pak you will marvel at the ruins that are in places monumental. There are areas that are tree lined grassy fields where you can have peaceful moments. When you pause at the base of one of the larger ruins you can definitely sense what these grounds and once temples meant to the... More

Visited by taxi from Old Sukhothai on an all day trip(1300bahts for2 ) approx. 50 km.to Si-Satchanalai. First stop at the amazing Wat Phra Si Ratana Mahathat. You can climb up this. Close by is a rickety old wobbly wooden bridge over the Yom river.Whilst half way across 2 motor bikes came past and made the bridge even more wobbly... More

Took a bicycle to look around. Nice breeze, green, flower, and historical monuments. Nice place to learn about the history of this area and to have relaxing time in the nature. Even under the harsh sunshine, I had comfortable time. Thank you for the natural shades.
