We were there on Tet holiday but it wasn't crowded.the boat trip through river took around 2.5 hours for round trip.Trang an itself was beautiful.Recommended !

Hi, I think you can do both no problem, but I would first go to Trang An, as in the morning the queues are really smaller, in the afternoon, when we were leaving there was a lot more people.

You can do them both in the same day - you can cycle between them. Mua cave itself is not particularly impressive but the walk up to the dragon view point next to the cave is well worth it
