As a local, this is my first time staying at one of the glamping tents. Initially thought the tent is comfy, but then my wife found out that there are caterpillars on the ceiling.
We asked the staff to get rid of them, but it took them forever to remove the insects.
Plus, the staff don't seem to provide the best service to local tourists when I tried to use the canoe.

Stunning location away from it all. Out of season is best for peacefulness. Relaxing swim subject to weather and tide conditions.

Our second time at White Sands Island and this time round, the waters where the boats docked at appeared to be much unkempt. There isn't much variety to the food menu and the staff weren't the friendliest. It felt like there wasn't much love put to the island. But definitely still worth the trip if you're travelling to Bintan.

Getting to the island was slightly further than expected, but we were rewarded with a good peaceful weekend. it was worth it. Additional costs that we paid for: transport from ferry terminal to their ferry point approx 40mins ride (S$50/way), lunch and dinner (S$100/pax).
go for the massage, SGD$30 for 60 mins. Massage will be done in your room, on the bed, and trust me they are really good. they have rabbits and turtles!
Pros: beach front villa, sunset view if you're facing bintan, or you get a sunrise view if you are facing the other side. eitherway, you get a good view.
Cons: cold shower, rain shower only. (wasnt entirely a negative point, but i wasnt mentally prepared for a cold shower), only 2 small bottles of water is provided.

The white sand island is quite and beautiful. Not sure if it’s worth 16 S$ per person for the boat ride to reach there. The boats are super small and I personally had a bad experience due to choppy waters and waves. The boat ride although was for 10-15 minutes but not something I would ever want to do again

A good choice if you want some private time with your friends or your love. Need to take a paid 10-15min boat ride from the harbour. There wasn't a lot of people when we were there, not sure it's the timing or the weather. Compared to other public beaches, this is definitely better if you dont mind paying extra bucks for the transport.

Went over for a day trip (12 to 4 cause of tides/boat landing). It was everything we imagined. Lovely set up with plenty of places to sit & sun bathe. Annoyingly there were para surfers there as well & they took many of the goods spots to leave their gear whilst out on the water. We found a nice spot to spend our time and got food & beer from the restaurant which we enjoyed the variety on offer. We had plenty of swims in the beautiful clear water and just went wow how good is this. Highly recommend as a place to visit. There are small huts & tents if you want to spend the night which we would definitely consider if we ever visit again.

Had a nice couple hours of visit there. Soft sands and clean beach. The food there is average. There’s only one particular problem is the staff. She had an attitude problem. I was very uncomfortable talking to her. When I was asking for a towel, ordering for food and giving back my change. She wasn’t friendly. Kinda ruin my holiday spirit. Kindly reminder to bring your own towel they don’t provide towel for visitor. Overall it was fine.

Went over for a excursion to visit. Very nice clean and secluded beach with both glamping and cottage options. Flew my drone and got some marvelous shots

White sand island is just a small island where u can walkabout on ur own. Check the tides before going because u could end up spending the whole evening there waiting for the tides to come in before the boat can pick u up back to main island. A couple of hours is enough to explore and take good photos on the island

Not sure if the resort can help you in this. But I dont see any indian foodstall or restaurant nearby. But the resort have some Indian food in their breakfast menu such as prata. They might be able to cater you a vegetarian meal.
