Best to stay over-night and absorb the full experience. Don't be rushed, climb the mountain, take in the view, hang with the locals when all the tourists have gone home.

This village is outside of the city and you can reach by taxi or your car something about 20km there you can find how locals live through stones this is kind of stone called Toof and it’s easy to be carved so the architecture here...More

I had visited Kandovan twice some 15 years ago. I had kept the memory of an atmospheric authentic village with cave dwellings and its inhabitants washing their laundry in the river. Now it has become a disgusting Chinese-style open-air mall (even with Eiffel Towers on...More

unbelievable , that in the 21st century we can see an old village with old culture and difficult conditions and who still living there. and the crucial point is there is not a long distance between them and the modern city (Tabriz) ... wonderful

The visit could have been better if the weather was good. Wet, slippery, cold and not a very interesting place to visit. Lots of shops selling dried fruits, nuts, honey etc. Tabriz people are some of the most friendly people on earth.

Kandovan is a real worth to explore city. Just walk around in the mountains. There are even some houses you can visit inside. It is sometimes steep but well to do

از تبریز تا کندوان اگه از طریق تاکسی ویژه برین دوازده تا پانزده هزارتومن اگه از اسکو برین ارزون تر تموم میشه چون خط ویژه اتوبوس هم داره
