This is a place worth visiting! Close to Haifa ( about 50 minutes by car ) the joint of the sea and rocks is fantástic. Nature at its Best! It will take about 60 minutes to walk through the caves and also watch the film about the history of this place. Super recomendable!!!

Rosh HaNiqra is the most stunning grottos that i have ever seen. Beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea.Clear sky and lovely view. Can hear the force of the sea with which it hits the rocks in the grottos. Gorgeous to the core. A must visit for all.

The Rosh Hanikra Grottos are very exciting for any age. Our children loved it. Don't forget your camera and put on good walking shoes as the surface can be quite slippery. Beautiful and wonderful experience.

This was a really fun place to take the kids. After seeing lots of museums and ruins this was a treat and they loved it. It doesn't take long - we were there maybe an hour and a half total, but well worth it. The cable car is a short ride and the grottos are very beautiful. More than the... More

It is a great place to visit, specially during a low season. In a small gondola you go down to the grottos, which are amazing. The rocks with glistering waters inside the mountains are amazing. There is also a short introductory film. I liked the laid back atmosphere. But I have heard there are lots of people on weekends.

Very pretty scenery on the coast looking over the Mediterranean Sea. Short cable car ride down to the Grottos where the walk through the tunnels was suitable for all ages. I have never seen such clear blue water anywhere before. Gorgeous! Tunnels/caves area (grottos) were all very safe and had hand rails for older people and young kids. I also... More

The visit to the Rosh Hanikra Grottos was a real highlight of our trip to the north of Israel. It was a short cable car ride down to the spectacular grottoes and it was a refreshing walk through the tunnels, and the movie was well worth watching. The only disappointment was not seeing any rock hyraxes, it seems they only... More

Rosh HaNiqra is located on the northern border of Israel and Lebanon. The rock formations here are white stone formed of calcium. The grottoes were formed over thousands of years of wave action against the rocks. From the parking lot on top, take the steepest cable car ride in the world (60 degrees) to the grottoes below. It's only a... More
