It really is a place out of this world. I am so glad I was here in low season. That was one of the most peacefull places I have ever been to. And so quiet in the night.

Wadi rum is the place to visit after petra! The desert is beautiful, don't miss a safari tour there and watch the sunset from the top of a mountain! We had a bedouine dinner which was good and the starry nights out there are beautiful. Not an experience to miss

Every day in Jordan was an adventure unto itself and I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the landscape. You are truly humbled to be among giant rock formations in the desert that become some of the most beautiful cinematography as you ride in a 4x4 or camel. Look for some of the oldest neolithic drawings on the rock faces to... More

One of my favorite places in the world. This is such a beautiful place. Try to spend at least two days here if you can. You will love the beautiful scenery during the day and the vast amount of stars and silence at night.

i have been there in Wadi Rum (Moon Valley) for two days, i had the biggest experience in my life for the desert life and Bedouin. Wadi Rum is a protected area covering 720 square kilometers of dramatic desert wilderness in the south of Jordan. Huge mountains of sandstone and granite emerge, sheer-sided, from wide sandy valleys to reach heights... More

We spent a day in the Wadi Rum desert doing a jeep tour with a camel ride and then Bedouin Camp lunch mixed in. The warm sun, cold air, quiet landscape, and peaceful guides were amazing. I was very relaxed at the end of the day, and enjoyed learning about some of the local culture as well.

Yes this place is famous for Lawrence of Arabia. But if you go little beyond the film location this place is amazing! Our desert driver (one driver who drove us to Wadi Rum from Amman) was a Bedouin whose family lived in the area for centuries. There are some drivers and tour guides from neighbouring towns and some people from... More

For those who have never been to a desert, taking a jeep or camel tour in Wadi Rum desert is a great experience because there are a number of sites to visit.
