It is an old Maronite Monastery started 1252, it is a great area till you reach the monastery. We had a great time and it was very pleasant. There is a museum with the first books and bibles that printed in Lebanon.

Old monastery carved inside the mountain at the beginning of the Qadish valley nice walk. I recommend to start with it before you go into the valley, because the fascinating walk might not give you time on your way back.
