The caves in the Unesco national park of Mulu are amazing. I liked the bat cave most. It is a true spectacular show once the thousands of bats swirl out of the caves. Don't miss out on this! You need a torch and provide mosquito spray. If it rains, take a poncho. The walk is a 8kilometer walk. But very... More

We only had one full day at Mulu but managed to pack lots in. Our guide took us to four caves, a village, a river cruise and the canopy walk. Cannot rate the park and its organisation highly enough. Superb.

I made this trip as my family trip. We are so impressive of the beauty of God's creation. Definitely it was worth to visit and all my family members were very satisfy for this trip. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management of national park to preserve the nature and caves. The cleanliness of the park... More

Visited in 2014 with friends over 2 days. We enjoyed all tbe 4 caves; and most of all enjoyed being in the water at Clearwater Pool. The visits to the caves were interesting and worthwhile. We stayed for about 5 days at a nearby village with local friends and took boat rides to & fro Mulu Caves over 2 days.... More

See my review under Cassie Tu and Mulu National Park - we did a 3 day 2 night trip and it was worth the money. Stayed at Mulu Marriot which is my next review. Plane trip from Miri is 30 minutes in propeller plane. Stay the 3 days - lots to do. There is cheap accommodation at National Park but... More

Interesting experience - guide was very informative and friendly, the caves and forest was beautiful. If you are more adventurous and physically fit, recommend to go for the 3 day adventure route, where you hike up too many steps to count (slippery and steep), waddle through 2km of strong cold currents in the dark caves. A not so typical holiday... More

We stayed at the Mulu Park Resort and spent a couple of days visiting the caves. Firstly, we went to the Lang and Deer caves. The Lang cave is full of interesting rock formations and there are some great photos to be taken. The Deer cave nothing special until the sun goes down and millions of bats come streaming out.... fantastic walk through the jungle followed by a great cave with bats though it was bit smelly. The evening bat exodus is one of the spectacles wildlife. Well..the bats sometime leave by another entrance so not able to see.

My visit to Mulu caves was one of the most fascinating in my life. The sheer size of the caves was awesome - my guide said the largest (Sarawak) could easily contain eight Jumbo Jet aircraft nose to tail. Apart from its massive capacity and Guano sodden floors, the rock formation and scurrilous wildlife in the semi darkness was an... More
