Honestly I think I just had really high hopes for this place, almost like a cenote, where you swim around with a snorkel and view wildlife. It is literally a concrete pool. Do not get me wrong it was stunning, super beautiful and it was fun watching people fly off the rope swing. Waler felt amazing, very refreshing. The restaurant... More

A lovely place for a swim, to relax, read and mingle with the locals. Friendly and fun. Really glad we came. And the coco loco was refreshing and good value.

Clear water and gorgeous trees surrounding it. Go early. After 12 you won't get a seat. We went at 9 and left when the crowds got big at about 1. Gorgeous morning. There's a Tarzan swing which was well used and created great entertainment.

A nice, clear semi natural pool to hang out and relax in. The water was surprisingly cold, but it was a nice contrast to the hot day. They offer food and drinks, which we didn't use, but still, a nice touch. We did buy a coconut from a couple local kids selling them. A nice place to stop off if... More

I didn't want to come here based on the reviews about the crowds, but another travelled insisted that it wasn't. She went before Xmas and we went right after so that might have been a difference. It was essentially a very pretty outdoor swimming pool. The temperature of the water was really comfortable and there is a slack line made... More

Located at the middle of the island of Ometepe, where the two parts of the island unite, at the narrow part. There are two nice natural swimming pools with tempered water to take a swim, so you must take a swimsuit to make this visit. There is a restaurant to grab something to eat and bathrooms for your convenience. But... More

Do know this is a touristy place. The water is clear and refreshing, but it's surrounded by restaurants and sunbathing chairs. I imagine it was nicer before it got this touristy to be honest. However, it might be nice for families who just want to relax and let the kids have fun.

Man-enhanced natural pools with a rope swing. Cool to experience. Lots of locals were enjoying their time at the pool and making a day of it.

It is a nice place for a half-day tour for example. Rent a scooter at Moyogalpa and visit this place in the morning. The entrance is $3 p.p. and you can have a quick dip in the refreshing water. There are baños, showers and a restaurant. I would 't go here if it was more expensive I think.
