This is the closest to paradise you can get in Nicaragua. Absolutely beautiful scenery, perfect water temperature, good food, and drinks.. really what more can you ask for. The price is very reasonable. It's the perfect place to cool off after sightseeing on the very hot island.

If you are looking to get off the beaten path and take a quick dip or longer if you have the time stop here. Natural mineral springs, very clear, cool water. Although it can get crowded on the weekends.

We went there after a day of kayaking. Was worth it to cool off. It's a nice pool surrounded by the forest.

I wouldn't go out of my way again to go to this place. The pool is concrete but apparently still mineral water fed. I drank the water but it didn't seem to give me any special powers!!

If you have a rest day amongst you're busy travel plans, then this is a good spot to go to. If you're on a time crunch I wouldn't go out of my way here. Since there's a lot of hiking in Ometepe, this is a good rest day spot to relax your sore legs in the cool, refreshing spring water.... More

Great setting. I don't know about any curative powers of the water but the water feels cool and great. The pools are large. If you get there before 9 am you will have it for yourself

Our island guide brought us here. It is natural swimming hole, $3 per person, with a rope swing. Nothing too special but the water is fresh and the Toñia's were cold.

Spent he morning here and it was beautiful! One of those experiences to check off of the list. Stunning waters, lots of chairs and services available (food, drinks, toilets etc).

This man-made pool of trapped water is a great place to stop over and relax for a bit. That said, there is nothing spectacular about it. If you have plenty of time, definitely stop by. If not, spend your time at Charco Verde or on the beach.

Enjoyed this stopover to cool down and refresh ourselves. The water is clean, calming, and nice to wade in. When we went, it was packed with families jumping, making noise and having a good time. It felt a big family pool party. Bring lots of mosquitoe reppellant as the bugs were out especially in the later afternoon.
