We had an incredible trip. Heimer and the team were so accommodating, knowledgable and experienced, very in tune with how we were feeling and were just a absolute pleasure to be around. We felt safe and cared for and would highly recommend ACV to anyone considering a trek through the Andes!!!!

We did Santa Cruz trek (4 days) and 2 day trips (to Chavin de Huantar and Lake 69) together with Andean Condor Voyager. Everything was simply great! The trips were very well organized and executed, good food, good atmosphere. It was the most comfortable trip I ever had in my life.
We also had a very good guide, Heimer was totally adapting to our needs, speed, problems - even last minute changes.
Highly recommended!

We did the Huayhuash Mini Trek with 2 friends from Switzerland and it was fabulous ! Excellent services, best guides that you can find for those remote hikes and good attention ! If you want to do the Machu Picchu Inca Trail, we highly recommend to acclimatise in a tour near Huaraz !

I am just back from a 4-day trek in the Peruvian Andes with Andean Condor Voyager. The entire experience was absolutely great. From making the arrangements to the hike itself, every detail was taken care of easily and efficiently. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly and ensured that we saw everything we had hoped to see in the safest, most comfortable way possible. I would highly recommend Andean Condor Voyager to anyone looking for an adventure in the Peruvian Andes.

We started our trip planning some time before we went to South America. We originally were planning a trip to northern Peru but a friend, who had been there several times suggested visiting the Cordillera Blanca and using a local guide - Heimer. Heimer was an excellent guide and friend right from the first email. He gave good and relevant advice and suggestions as to what we could do in the time we had. The day and overnight walks were well planned, catered for and resourced - there was even a rescue horse for tired walkers. The trails were challenging and interesting as Heimer told us of the rich history of every part of the mountains. As a fellow mountain guide in Australia, I could appreciate the work behind the scenes that I knew was being done by Heimer's team to ensure his clients had an enjoyable and memorable trip.
Thank you to Heimer and his team.

In 2014 we planned a trek to Machu Picchu. We needed to gently acclimatise ourselves to the altitude beforehand so a friend suggested that we do some day treks accompanied by a short camping trip in the Cordillera Blanca first. This way, we would experience high altitudes by day but could return to a lower altitude to sleep at night. What a perfect suggestion that turned out to be.
Prior to the trip we communicated by email with a recommended guide, Heimer. We were very impressed with his English, which helped to simplify our planning. Heimer quickly and efficiently organised two day trips for us to two of the most beautiful places in the world, Churup Lake and the breathtaking Lake 69. This was followed by a two night camping trip to the impressive ancient ruins of Chavin.
Due to a flight delay of one day from Lima to Anta (the airport in the Cordillera Blanca) our schedule had to change slightly. Heimer immediately contacted us in Lima by phone and altered the itinerary so that we could still enjoy all that we had planned.
From the moment we arrived in Anta, we were taken care of, and knew that we were in good hands. We were met at the airport, settled into excellent accommodation in Huaraz and from there we enjoyed amazing adventures in one of the most scenic and historic parts of the world.
The whole trekking team was friendly and welcoming and everything was competently organised. The camping conditions and tents were top quality. Treks were at our pace, emergency help was available if needed and the food, even when camping, was as well presented and as tasty as you could get in any top class restaurant. Every effort was made to help us to make the most of our time in Peru.
By the time we left Anta airport, we felt that we were not only waving goodbye to one of the best trekking teams in South America but to some very special friends.
Thank you to Heimer and to all of your team. In your competent care we have certainly been blessed to have had the adventures of a lifetime!

I had some time to spare while in Lima, so I decided to make my way to Huaraz to experience the famed Cordillera Blanca landscapes. Given the last minute decision, I didn't have any transportation or accommodation planned - but boy was I glad to have contacted Heimer and his team at Andean Condor Voyager. Heimer became somewhat of my personal concierge and took care of everything - my flight arrangements from Lima into Huaraz, accommodation as well as transport of my excess luggage by bus (given the weight limitations on LC Peru) all the way to my hotel in Huaraz. Everything was well planned and executed.

Turns out that Heimer was himself a guide, and an excellent one at that too - he accompanied me on 2 day hikes out, first to Lake Llaca and the second to the famous Lake 69 that was more challenging. Heimer was fun to be around with, he spoke English well and commanded great knowledge of the flora and fauna of the surroundings. He was extremely patient as well, especially during the more challenging sections of the hikes. He displayed a genuine interest in knowing more about me, and our chats certainly made the day hikes very enjoyable. Before long my 2 day hikes were over but the entire experience was a very memorable one. I am grateful to have met Heimer and his team who took great care of me during my short visit to the Cordillera Blanca, and I will definitely be back to spend a longer time with the team in my next trip!
