The drive to Tacama is not pretty. As a matter of fact half way there I asked my husband and turn around and leave. I'm so glad he didn't listen. The place was simply AMAZINGGGG!!!! The vineyard is so beautiful & peaceful and their wine is out of this world. We bought several bottles and also ate at their restaurant.... More

We came here reading the reviews that it was awesome, but were very underwhelmed. It is cool that they are the oldest winery but other than that; the tour, shop and products were subpar. Tour will go through the plant but quickly skip many of the interesting parts about the older equipment and history. Their restaurant was expensive, didn't eat... More

Visit to the Tacama Vineyards - the oldest established winery in South America. Excellent tour of the vineyards and the hacienda, including an informative tour of the winemaking areas with wine and Pisco tasting. Very good restaurant on site. We bought Son Manuel Petit Verdot red wine and Pisco Albilla. We also visited the Museo Nacional in Ica - excellent... More

If you happen to find yourself in the Ica region anywhere near Paracas, Ica, or even Nazca make sure to take a day and go visit Tacama. We took the free tour they offer, which includes a small tasting at the end, and then ate lunch at their restaurant. The entire staff in incredibly helpful and kind, special shoot outs... More

What an amazing experience... beginning with the restaurant being a delight. After our free scheduled tour/wine tasting..We had the pleasure of meeting Carlos (the sommelier) He gave us an exclusive tour of the vineyard. It is definitely a winery to visit especially being the oldest in South America. The scenic views and history make it worth while. We will enjoy... More

Knowing that it is the oldest winery in Latin America, we planned to visit Tacama and it proved to be our most favourite day in the region! A great atmosphere, an impressive edifice, a fun tour including free wine tasting and our best meal in Peru made our day! We would definitely do it again!
