Impressive interior with nice paintings, but the exterior garden is not well taken care of. The tower can be visited and the view from the top is nice, even if tall and ugly comunist buildings spoil a little the landscape

It is a nice and beautiful monastery with great wall paintings and amazing icons. Beautiful gardens surrounds it. It was built in mid 17th century. From its tower - 30m high - you can have a great view of the city.

The Monastery is so well kept! Walking around the gardens is a unique experience! Building with painted ceilings and very old icons. Worth visiting is you are in the area!

The scenery is the reward you get after climbing the 120-130 stairs of the tower which is part of the tall walls that surround the monastery. In each corner of the walls there is a turret. It was raised on the foundation of an old church by Ioan Golia and rebuilt by Vasile Lupu and his son. It is one... More

Very pleasent site in the center of the city. Beautiful garden and nice architecture. The interior of the monastery is partially under renovation, therefore not everything may be seen. There was no information about the place available, which has a long and interesting history.

A beautiful place downtown Iasi with a lot of history. If you know who Ion Creanga is, you don't have to miss it!
