Whilst staying in hercig novi we went on the kotor bay trip. It is great value for money. We were taken by taxi boat across to join our boat for the day. Although it was very full it didn’t spoil the day. We made several stops perast being our favourite. A beautiful place to see Montenegrin culture. We had free raki shots and melon onboard and the crew were friendly and helpful especially Jakob who gave us a commentary onboard of sights to see etc.

We stayed in the Iberostar which had a private Jetty and direct access to Petar Boats. We used the water taxi over to Herceg Novi which was well run and punctual. I booked the day trip to Kotor in advance and just my luck it was the windiest day of the year. Unfortunately after we had reached our lady of the rocks we were informed we could not enter Kotor bay due to the high winds. I was extremely disappointed however this was no fault of Petar boats and totally out of their control. We enjoyed the rest of the trip and Jacob was very informative throughout. The day trip is such good value for money and includes a shot of local alcohol, some fish and bread and watermelon. A fellow guest on our trip had a bit of an accident on board and the way the staff reacted was very commendable and looked after her very well.
We also booked the trip to the blue cave which was an unforgettable experience.
The lady based in the Iberostar who works for Petar is very helpful and informative.
Thanks for a great trip, I will just have to come back again to experience Kotor!!

We departed from Herceg Novi at 9:30, on our way to first destination being Lady of the Rocks we were served a welcome drink "rakija" and whitebits with bread. Guide was excellent didnt bother us too much but still gave us a lot of interesting information.
Lady of the Rocks was amazing really small but beautiful island. Half an hour was given and thats more then enough time to visit the hole island.
After Lady of the Rock we went to Kotor. I was amazed by the old town you have a feeling like you are in Italy. The time there was 1h 45min witch honestly in my opinion was short but when i asked crew about it they explained to me that excursion is with group and not everyone want to spend a lot of time in Kotor also that excursion is planed to comeback around 17 30 to 18 o'clock simply adding the time would just make it much longer, after thinking about it very understandable.
Around 15pm we arrived at our 3rd destination thats meant for swimming. We didnt swim but we enjoyed drinks from lazybags at upperdeck. Even tho we didn't swim we saw a lot of young couples enyoing jumping from the boat.
Perast was our last destination also our favorite, one of the oldest town in Montenegro, i dont want to spoil anythink so you can have a great experience.
On our way back we got a watermelon and we have a good talk with the crew about excursion and each other experience.
In conclusion even though we had really high expectation tour didnt disappointed us a little bit, i can see why is it "must do". Crew make it special as well they are so helpful and friendly you can ask them anythink at any time the boys were amazing.
Definitely 5⭐ highly recommend .
Thanky you PetarBoats 🥰

Fantastic tour of the Bay of Kotor. We visited Our Lady of the Rocks, Kotor and Perast. We also spent some time swimming in the beautiful water. Excellent value for money and our guide, Jacob, was welcoming and a great guide.

Have just completed the Kotor Bay tour. A great way to see the whole bay. The crew were very friendly and enthusiastic. Departed and returned on time. Boat has two new toilets and a small bar. Complementary whitebait and later water melon!

Fabulous trip to the blue cave & snorkelling around the numerous surrounding caves. The company even offered to pick us up & drop us off at our hotel making it so convenient for us & really personalising the trip. Great touch on our return journey exploring the submarine tunnels & we had the opportunity to video our exit to the James Bond theme tune at high speed, fantastic fun. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience & would highly recommend

We had a great day out on the Kotor Boat Trip and would recommend it to anyone who want's to see the local area on a friendly crewed boat.
With stops off at Perast, Our Lady on the Rocks, Kotor and a swim in the sea off the boat, it was well worth the money that we paid.
The boat was clean and the toilet facilities above any expectation that we had when we went on the boat. There was also a small bar on board where you could purchase drinks so don't worry if you forget to pack anything for during the day.
If you get there early enough, there are deck chairs on the top deck for those sun worshipers.
I'm not a fan of boats so was nervous before we went out on the boat but I needn't of worried as felt really safe throughout the whole trip.
A bit shout out to Captain Ivan, Deck Crew Rade & Nikola and not forgetting the really chatty Guide Jakov, for a lovely day out.
We also used the Ferry Boat from our hotel Iberostar Herceg-Novi to Herceg-Novi bay on a regular basis and they were always prompt and the crew friendly.
Would definitely recommend using Petar Boats for either a group tour or if you decide to hire one privately.
