Herceg Novi has a festival MIMOSA with many activities but the beaches are small and packed in gihg season. I recommend visiting in spring or early autumn when temp is often still around 25-30 decgrees C ... or go a little along the coast in between the main tourist spots, be careful of "sharks" they dont live in the water! otherwise the Kotor bay area is beautiful and Lucista peninsular great for hiking ..

Fantastic beach and restaurant

Amazing beach, amazing bar and restaurant and great service. Definitely worth a visit. You can only get there by boat but if you check they can help you get a transfer.

Almost like a private beach

If you like a truly personal and special beach/experience when going to Herceg Novi (other places around the Kotor Bay) you should go here. A little beach / restaurant /bar that only can be reached by boat (as of now). Its a 35 min trip by boat from the harbour of Herceg Novi.

The beach/resort have been there for long - but its just been renovated. If you need sunbeds you should book in advance or go there early. Also good to know that the beach is pebble and as underwater freshwater wells spread around. Only makes it better and fresh :-)

The restaurant serves very good food. Price is above average for Montenegro but the feel and atmosfere is exclusive - and thats what they are aiming for I think.

One of the coolest and quaintest beaches we found, such a great restaurant with great sea food. Loved the decor. Beach chairs super comfy and the bungalows were a perfect hit for naps. Clear clean waters

Fabulous service and food but beware the wasps

Stopped here for lunch on a boat tour and were pleasantly surprised that it was not overpriced as we expected as a captive audience. We were made very welcome and ordered our drinks. All great until the kids opened the soft drinks which were sugary and attracted a vast number of wasps. My older daughter was stung and one of the members of staff got her some Aloe Vera plant which helped greatly.

The food was excellent and those who had the mixed seafood and the clams were most impressed. The rest of us were very happy with out choices too. The service really was great and I would recommend to anyone unless they react very badly to bites!

Nice but...

A great little piece of paradise.... but... do not go there if you are allergic to wasps and be careful the water is dirty... too many boats and tourists?!
Food was very good though....
maybe better places... didn’t have enough time to see more...

Definitely worth a visit!!

A peaceful, secluded beach in the bay of Kotor, approx 30 min with shuttle boat from Herceg-Novi.

There are sun beds all along the beach, and on the cliffs surrounding the restaurant. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, doing everything with a smile. They serve fresh fish and seafood of high quality, as well as beverages and alcohol.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy promenade in Herceg Novi , I strongly recommend this beach!

Crystal clear sea, excelent food, fresh fish, good vine, no music. Place to relax and enjoy nature becoming part of it. Will visit it again for sure. My recommendation.

Escape to a little piece of paradise.

I am glad to have found the other people's review of this place. It is possible to get there only from the sea, so renting a boat or jumping onboard of a tour going past it is your only option. But it is worth it. It is a privately owned small pebbly beach between the two wooded hills, with amazing clean water, nice restaurant, very friendly people and comfortable beach beds. We spent something like 6 hours there and the time was good! Just be prepared that prices will be slightly higher than elsewhere, but we were happy to pay for a place like this.

quiet well organized beach reachable by boat only with great service and restaurant

What a fabulous spot hidden in the coast of the Bay of Kotor. Coming there by boat(from Rose is the closest place) is a nice start; getting one of those nice soft lounge beds is perfect (in holiday season is better to reserve as hotels might reserve a few for their guests).
The staff is very good and the restaurant serves very well prepared food. They keep the beach (little stones, not sandy) clean at all time; the water is so clear and the rest area behind the restaurant is so shady and well maintained. the whole beach and restaurant and beds are organized in a pirate setting which gives it a nice laid back atmosphere. I was hooked to the fresh salads!!
