Old bridge

An old bridge in the near of city center. Isn't a top tourist attraction, but in Podgorica you can walk to this and around the park of the bridge.

We went here on our way to the old city and didn't expect to see this amazing place. If I would recommend people to go to one aingle place when in Podgorica, this is it. Beautiful!!!

This is the kind of 'attraction' which will have you thinking you should have headed straight to the coast and forgotten about Podgorica. The bridge is a rather simple affair but it could have been pretty enough. Unfortunately, it is covered in graffiti and the surrounding area was liberally decked with plastic waste of all descriptions. Not a rewarding place... More

If you like garbage and senseless graffiti, then Podgorica is the town for you. What a shame to see the historic stone bridge over the river Ribnica surrounded by used tires, plastic bottles, and smashed cans of lager. It's probably the one reasonably scenic site inside the city and it's covered with spray paint. I feel the people of this... More

Went to photograph the bridge early morning before starting work. It's only mildly interesting compared to other similar ones in the region. The 'river' is only a stream and was empty of water and full of rubbish when I saw it.

Ribnica is a small river which flows into the Moraca, this place was named after her. This part of town is the old part of Podgorica, once known as the city of Nemanjica-ruling family of Montenegro. This is a very romantic place for couples.

The bridge is nice. Not the most exciting bridge there is, but if you are visiting the city and in the area, it's an option

This little bridge is quite scenic but beware the tramps in the area looking for shelter. It tends to be a bit grubby and if you try to approach it from the side of Pod Volat then you will will have to pass through a rubbish dump to get there - so approach it from the centre city side

Nice water and bridge, although look abit like a drain at first. Areas filled with rubbish, it seems to me people here have no pride at all... Toilet here has become a 1000 year old ruin.. This capital city is a joke of a lifetime, probably one of the worst in Europe... It simply has nothing, even the main square... More

Viewed this ancient bridge as part of a self guided walking tour of the city using tourist map. I was very surprised to see that given the historical significance of the bridge there was no effort to ensure it was a pleasant and safe place to visit. Rubbish and broken glass not to mention damage to what look to be... More
