About
One of the main symbols of the four-century Turkish rule over Podgorica. This building, built by Hafis-Pasha in the 18th century, dominates the landscape of the Stara Varos. This cultural and historic monument has been the only public clock in the city for a long time.

Not a bad clock tower to visually look at, but it does seem out of place and nothing around it to support the history or the clock tower and the heritage of it.

It’s really a quick photo and move on, wouldn’t go out of my way to see.

It's just a clocktower adjacent to a busy road. Apart from being a relic of the past there's not much to see here, a plus however is that one of the best restaurants is located nearby

The clock tower stands nicely on a square close to a cozy neighborhood, but further there is not much to do. It is a nice building, but that is everything. It is one of the sights of Podgorica though.

Not many types of buildings can survive what this monument did. It's crazy to think that it is still standing. The Clock Tower, named Sahat Kula, was one of the few landmarks that survived the WW2 bombings. It was built in 1667, is made of stone and stands 19 meters tall. It was renovated in January 2012 and a new electric mechanism was installed. We didn't know what to expect, but the contrast of the stones with the blue sky looked really cool.

I wish I could say more about this clock tower, besides that it looks old, and build with stones. Really nothing special.

The Sahat kula or the clock tower is nicely restored but there isn't that much to see. There is a clock on one side of the tower, apparently on the side where the old town used to be.
There is a pretty good local restaurant next to the clock tower, Pod volat.

A decent place with few shops for souvenirs. Not adequate info about the place or structure. Visible while moving around the city.

The clock tower - a typical feature of Islamic/Islam-inspired Old Towns all over south-eastern Europe - marks the 'entrance' to Podgorica's modest Old Town and is its most striking and photogenic feature.

It's tall, it has a clock on it, and it photographs well against the magnificently blue Montenegrin sky.

The building stands alone in a square. It is well restored and nice to look at, but the area is squalid as most of this town, reconstructed after massive bombings in WWII and still full of gloomy soviet style buildings. Places to eat in the vicinity.
