Temple was crowded by pilgrims. But we were able to worship both side temples. The dagaba was unique. It was not made like other ones. It was not solid. You can walk inside. Other side of the road you will find the famous Ananda Bodiya....More

Worth a visit - but don't get caught into paying for a guild through the temple, its free. They may ask you to donate for milk money for the babies however they then ask for 1700 Rupees !!!! Not really a lot of money but...More

I am Christian but hotel arranged me city tour to Bodhiya temple..The was very clean and neat. People over there are more helpful for the foreigners..

it is a bhuddist temple. If you want to visit the temple u should wear a dress below knee lenght. otherwise u will not b allowed to go inside .

Hi, it is open every day, dress code is long trousers for men knees and shoulders covered for women, also take shoes off at entrance.
