One of the many interesting seaside rock formation in Taiwan. Scale wise is a little smaller but nonetheless offers its own charm. Not so crowded when I was there so that can be a good thing.

For as long as I can remember I often go camping with my families. Sometimes we just lived in where we stop the car, maybe a elementary school auditorium or a parking lot. But mostly experience were booked a campsite. Just like Xiouyeliu camping area. I remembered that time is a special trip with my anut's family and my mom's... More

This park lies just north of Taitung and us easily accessible by foot. The park is on the beach and contains very interesting and unique rock formations carved by nature. The soft sandstone and the hard basalt mix together in a fascinating display of form and color. Be careful as you climb the rocks as some are razor sharp

Xiaoyeliu is a great place where you can enjoy the sea breeze, take great pictures and simply relax your mind. It is also easily accessible by bus from Taitung Train Station. A must-go for travellers in Taitung City!

It's a cool place to stop for 30 minutes to see the rock formations and fossils, but if you've been to the real Yeliu in northern Taiwan, you can give this one a miss.

Xiaoyeliu is a small coastline park just outside of Taitung. The beach on this particular stretch of coast is remarkable, with several sections containing incredibly perplexing rock formations.

Nature has taken its course in shaping the rocks formation. The whole trail takes about 30min.. It is nature, hence no entrance fee involved. When you are tired, there are resting spots available. Restaurants are nearby. There is a coral shop which sells good souvenirs.

If you have been to the Yeh Liu Geopark, you will know what I am talking about. The view of Xiouyeliu is great, lookout to the ocean makes you feel refreshing. But like many places in Taiwan, you can do the same thing. Xiouyeliu is not as organized and not very safe walking from one of the rock to the... More

The various types of unusual rock formations caused by erosion are different from those in yeliu. Enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. There is a visitor centre and some food outlets
