This was the most civilized market I visited in Delhi. It makes for a nice afternoon with heavy bargaining and then if you want you can head to Connaught lace for the more western style of shopping. One must bargain hard. Also there is a Tibetan market at one end which has a few more authentic shops.

Lots of shops selling handicrafts, t-shirts, souvenirs etc. Whatever price is offered to you - halve it...you can really bargain and haggle here. Note most places are closed on Sunday.

just one road that will steal your attention towards the cheap and trendy clothes, handmade home decorative articles .Suitable for those who love to bargain for the clothes and accessories . For novel lovers, there are shops and stalls to get second hand novels half of the price.

Recently we had some friends visiting us and we decided to take them to this market as they wanted to buy some souvenirs and artificial jewellery. They liked the place and bought few items to take back with them.

Janpath market near cannaught place in delhi is a real paradise for shopping lovers. The rates are reasonable and there are too many options to choose from. One thing that must be noted for a person going for shopping at Janpath is bargaining. Do bargaining as much as you can. I bought a top MRP 780 for Rs. 300

We love market shopping and were advised that Janpath was a good place to go. Both shops and stalls lined the roads, selling a vast array of goods from clothes to trinkets. Bargaining was a prerequisite so bear that in mind. The market was close to a McDonald's so easy access for a refreshing drink or snack. Close to Connaught... More

enjoyed what Janpath had to offer. Different cultural experience but well worth it, lots of vendors, vibrant colours and things to look at.
