If you're ok with tight little streets, lots of tuk tuks, bikes and rickshaws, all tooting their horns, you will love this large market area. The place has a constant buzz but feels safe to us. Just be sensible with your possessions when walking around. Each area has different goods, from dressmaking to books to car parts. Most streets are... More

I visited with my friends on weekend. I went there through metro. The place has all the varieties and it is wholesale market. Chandni chowk is basically market for jewellery and clothes. Person should have at least 3-4 hours to visit this place. There is no parking place. I will advise all the visitors to go there through auto riksaws... More

A little bit of choas and a crowded market but still the heart of Delhi and you get good traditional indian cuisine with good masalas and good ethnic indian jewellery and good traditional indian clothes the marketplace is good for foreigners who like indian food and clothes just you have to develop a good taste for it.

You name a thing and its all here at rates so reasonable that you wonder before buying anything in GURUGRAM which is just so expensive The good bit about Chandani chowk is that there, you have specific streets for specific things like for dry fruits there are at least 50 shops next to each other, same for bed sheets and... This was one of my least favorite places to visit, however, the true spirit of entrepreneurship and hustle is evident in Chandni Chowk. The area is quite crowded and chaotic, from skipping carts and rickshaws you must be on aware of your surrounding to ensure you don't get hit. The area is quite central and is close to the metro... Went here by foot after being dropped of by our local guide. A crazy, bustling, noisy and VERY busy experience. Worth going to get the Old Delhi "feel".

It has old Delhi charm and nice street food. Mango sandwich, Irani restaurants, Jama Masjid sweet shops

Crowded streets, hawkers on footpath, push your way through, old market place, good old restaurants, find this all on the road leading to Red fort. In contrast to New Delhi, yet a good experience for those seeking a feel of Old Delhi
