You can bring in a note book to do sketches. This place is my favorite of India. Security is a bit much. Be prepared to be searched on the way in and out. It is worth it.

Huge museum, very articulately displayed artifacts a place you can go back in time to see and feel the glorious past of Indian civilisation. Drawback is the canteen and the signs and reading material should be more presentable and imaginative.

Yes. I had no problems with it at all. To protect the items exposed, flashes are not aloud as expected. It is a very nice museum. Enjoy it!
