Our driver thought that this doll museum was just for kids. He was wrong. The selection of dolls from all over the world was almost unbelievable. Yes, some of the exhibits were dusty--but the costumes, the faces, the age range of the dolls (old, young and babies)--humorous, endearing, frightening. The experience was sublime. Children would enjoy the dolls, but adults... More

The museum could be easily reached by metro. One has to get down at ITO (violet line) and take the exit from gate no. 4. The exit comes out just at the entrance of the Shankar's dolls museum. The timings are from 10 am to 6 pm (last entry at 5.30 pm). The price for the ticket is Rs. 18.... More

Thought meant for kids, this museum is interesting even for elders as it showcases culture of so many countries and Indian states. It is situated right next to ITO metro gate but there is no sign post near entry. So ask people around to find your way. Museum is on the first floor and I couldn't spot any lift there.... More

This is one of the best collections I have ever seen and certainly the most extensive. It needs plenty of time for you to view properly, so don't rush. It is very centrally positioned in Delhi and is so easily accessible. Don't miss this wonderful dolls of the world sight.

A poor maintenance and not keeping in sync with time can really ruin the reputation of a place, and that's exactly what happened with Dolls museum. Once it used to be a very popular place, and not anymore. It looks jaded. But none the less, at a great location next to Metro and economical ticket you can show it at... More
