Good collection of art works and paintings done by yesteryear's highly popular Artists like Ravi Verman. Art gallery gives good glimpse of history, culture, heritage and value of local region. Building needs maintenance though.

Lovely pieces of art but the building is falling down. When you walk in there is a huge chunk of roof that has fallen in.

A must visit place in Mysore for art lovers and non lovers alike. Ravi Raj Verma masterpieces are on 1st floor with the Haldankars lady with a lamp. The trust who manages these masterpieces can definitely afford better lighting to showcase these paintings . The building and paintings are national treasures and should be presented accordingly.

As mentioned the art is great but the gallery is poorly maintained. Good place to spend a quick 2 hours with the family.

Not at all maintained. Very sad to see such a property kept this way. We touched there and left immediately, though there is a art gallery

A visit to this art gallery is frankly difficult to descrile until you actually see it & feel the emanating vibes. Although I'm not really a connoisseur of arts or its appreciation but most of the paintings here held me in trance. I actually left the gallery after a few hours with the mesmerizing painting ' Lady with the Lamp'... More

There are some excellent paintings and a full gallery of Ravi Varma's masterpieces. However, the place has a run down appearance. When we were there, we noticed a portion of the roof had caved in, allowing rain water to come through freely. Those paintings definitely deserve superior treatment and care.
