This dam is a good picnic spot. Pretty old dam with good view from the top of the dam while walking. Even in this hot summer, water level is good. Average maintenance but main reservoir for most part of the region.

We recently went to see this dam on our way to orange county kabini.Earlier we had seen in full flow when all the gates were open. But now since there was no water the dam was dry but still back waters were there. What a contrast with full flow and no flow
