This year it was lit beautifully and gave a sense of modesty. The building has been refurbished and presents itself as a place where decisions govern the state.

A nice place to view from outside as general public is not allowed inside. Looks beautiful in late evenings under lights.

The Mantralaya was formerly known as the Sachivalaya or Secretariat. The architecture which was modern when it was first constructed in the neighbourhood of art deco buildings cannot be considered exceptional now. Nothing here for a tourist.
