I always prefer seeing a new place through the eyes of the local people whenever possible. In Udaipur had a wonderful experience with Wishall as our guide. There is no way we would have found the places he took us to. And to discover what a happening place this city is - thoughtful and open-hearted community spirit, eco projects, creativity,... More

This was my second walking tour around the Blue city, Jodhpur with Virasat although they were three years apart. And by sheer coincidence my guide happened to be Kuldeep Singh again! The tour led us deep into the heart of the old city, traversing blue-walled alleyways punctuated by exquisite architectural elements. We were welcomed into homes by friendly residents, eager to... I would thoroughly recommend our guide Madhav Shekhawat. His tour of the markets of old Jaipur was great fun, so much so that there was not enough time to include everything that he had planned. We sampled the best chai yet and saw some different places even though it was our 3rd visit to Jaipur.

My wife and I met our guide Bhaskar Paliwal for a 2.5hr walking tour. He was very informative, took us around the markets which we would have never found. Showed us the spices and we tried some delicious street food. It was a great experience and we would heartily recommend it

I had few friends from US and I wanted to offer them some offbeat experience in Jaipur. We booked a Temple and Havelis walk with Katha, Virasat Experiences and got under the skin of Jaipur. Living in Jaipur from my childhood, never knew much about the abandoned havelis and havelis temples. Visiting the special Aarti at gopinath temple was amazing and... More

Very enjoyable 2 hour guided tour around Jaipur centre with our extremely knowledgeable guide, Katha. Her English is superb and she was open to answering all our questions. She showed us much of the living history of the place and there was so much to see. It was good to see the skilled workman at work and all the goods... More

Anshu was our guide for a bazaar, cuisine and crafts of old Jaipur walk. She was excellent, informative, open to all our questions, took lots of time with us, didn't rush us. Explained the relationship between all the foods in the market, the seasons and our physical well being. Explained how Indians viewed the link between their beliefs and the... More

Katha gave us a sample of the essence of Jaipur. This should not be missed. The sounds, sights and smells of the walk will be with you forever. Great street food. Horrendous noise from the motor bikes but worth that to appreciate the wonderful architecture, little temples, monkeys, amazing craftsmanship and cornucopia of colours. Along the way, Katha gives you... More

I was given a wonderful heritage walk tour by Virasat's young guide, Katha Mathur. I am American traveling throughout India for a month and found her to be intelligent, knowledgeable and responsive to all my many questions. She is a real asset. Very well educated and easy to understand. And I have experienced many many Indian guides.

An excellent tour that we would thoroughly recommend. Our guide, Pratik, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and spoke very clear English. He took great pains to ensure that we were safe at all times and made the whole 2 ½ hours very enjoyable. From the history of the buildings, to the Temples and the Bazaar it was a very enjoyable walk.
