We booked a few months ago with chef Lokesh to secure a place at this cooking class. We were not disappointed at all. Chef Lokesh was a good teacher, he created an intimate ambiance. The food we made with him was faboulus (you eat it at the end and Geetika, his wife, prepare you doggy bags for the spare food).... More

This was a wonderful experience. Definitely worth making time for on your trip. First off, take an Uber! The tuk tuk drivers do not know this place and Uber finds it easily. Second, don't eat lunch. They will fill you up all through the cooking and at dinner after. Mr and Mrs Mathur welcomed us with open arms and made... More

Lokesh is a great cooking instructor, and the menu we chose (vegetarian) was just perfect. He paced things really well and let us eat a taste of the food as each course was prepared. Lokesh and Geetika are delightful hosts and sitting around enjoying the meal afterwards was also a treat. Highly recommend this if you want a fun evening... More

This was a wonderful immersion in the aromas, textures, and techniques of Indian cooking. Anyone can perhaps use a cookbook, and get passable results...and I've done my fair share of that...but this was on a whole other level. Getting hands-on exposure to the very real processes, such as preparing the spices and other basic materials, applying just the right heat,... More

If you're in Jaipur, you should definitely do this. I had no idea how many spices go into everything, and it all smells so fresh. Very clean there and they use bottled water so don't worry about getting ill. We had a lovely time during class and even more so after as chef Lokesh and his wife are great! We... More

My wife and I had a wonderful evening learning how to cook with chef Lokesh and visiting with his wife. He did an excellent job teaching us about the flavors that make each dish so special, and included us often to help prepare the dishes. One of the highlights was tasting as we went along. We look forward to trying... More

We were in a group of 8 (6 of us and another couple) Lokesh and his wife welcomed us into their home for the afternoon/evening to learn to cook one of the menus we had preselected. We cooked 6 dishes together, including naan, biriyani and homemade paneer! Everyone in the group attempted different parts and everything was explained really well.... More
