A complex full of buildings and places to enjoy. Consider taking several hours to get to know the place. Be accompanied by a guide! Has lots of history ... several places to visit: a museum of costumes, shops, coffee and lots of space to discover.

True to its name the city palace of Jaipur is a palace in true sense. It consists of Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. The palace complex is beautiful and depicts wonderfully the hard work put in to complete it.

Although one can get overloaded with the many palaces in Rajasthan, this one is still very much worth visiting. Don't miss the textile museum in the public audience chamber.

This disappointing collection of buildings are part of the city Palace and not a lot to see. There are no photos allowed (a fine if you disobey) in the main building for some unknown reason and the staff are rude. Don't waste your money, walk up the street to the Hawa Mahal or Jantar Mantar instead. You will get your... More

City Palace of Jaipur is a magnificent palace located in the center of the city. It's a well built structure that speaks of the grandeur of the Marwar Rajputs. Museum is housed within the palace. Different fabrics and shawls are exhibited here. The weapons are on display in the art gallery of the palace.
