The hall of mirrors seem to be popular in the Jaipur palaces. The ceiling and walls are decorated with several small pieces of mirrors. So If a candle is lit, it is reflected several times, creating a spectacular effect.

Most ancient monuments in India are not in top shape. Even the ravages of recent history Have taken their toll. Love this place and have been here a few times. Best time to visit are the cold weather months. Forget the history etc, the photographs could be done later. Soak into the ambience and the knot the place. Very magical. Like the part where one can be photographed in a mirror frame....fun to do it

A opportunity to see this historic monument cannot be missed. The downside is that there are thousands of visitors and the place is not organized , with many vendors and hawkers continuously pestering one.

Mirrors are "everywhere" and what you see in the mirrors is very interesting. We enjoyed taking photos at the mirror and seeing ourselves in the photos without the camera was really neat.

Located within the fort. Do get a guide to understand the details of the fort and good pictures around the fort and Sheesh mahal.
