T Nagar is the main shopping market in Chennai , Ranganathan Street is entry to shopping area,too many shopping complex in this area,a2z items are available for shopping from low quality to high branded quality but heavy crowded area in all week days

During festival season, it is impossible to set a foot in this lane. Many big shopping malls and showrooms are present here, esp garments, textiles and gold silver jewellery shops. Pongal rush is maddening, we almost got lost in the maze.

Shopping destination for women's with lots of silk saree shops and jewellery shops. Also food joints are there. One of the busiest streets in weekend.

Not a nice place in my opinion Like a market Full of tat shops Street hard to walk along as pathments all broken and dirty Didn't see one decent place to get a coffee

Its true mostly cheap good sold on streets and even in shops. But one wishes really shopping quality products then straight Saravanna Stores and Pody's etc. like large and huge stores. I found goods at much cheaper price and long variety as well. Everything you can get there. Quality of products available at streets is not worth unlike we experience... More
