This place is crowded to the point you'll suffocate. Shockingly large crowds that never seem to end. While it offers plenty of options for shopping given it has a large number of stores, but the crowds are a turn off.

many shops+many people= One huge crowd. That is what is here. But you have a lot of options, if you don't like one shop, you can choose another in vicinity

very near the Tnagar bus stop, leading you away from mambalam railway station to the main usman road, with the most crowded shops on either side, including the saravana stores, where you can buy anything, with fast bites and coffee near the entrance. you have to practically crawl your way through during busyhours

It is one of very busiest street in Chennai. You can find all the materials in that street especially jewelers, dress materials, utensils, variety of bags, etc. You can find it in all the range. It is very near to Mambalam sub urban railway station. Reaching there is easy. Don't forget to do shopping there.

During our visit to Chennai, we were not exactly into shopping here. But having heard of the place we wanted to have a feel of the street. You get everything, bargaining is allowed, not too sure about the quality of the stuff. But it is an extremely crowded place and unless you have the patience, difficult to spend time. May... More

This is one place where you can find people everywhere literally. though its a very short distance to get out of this street you have to spend 15min to get out. Imagine the crowd. You will have to move in slow motion with the crowd. It was a different experience for me.
