Many Himalayan animals in open spacious areas not cages. Lots of greenery. Good freelance guide. Try to combine with Himalayan Mountaineering Institute museum next door

Location is good. Though not many varieties of animals are there. And also, the enclosures are pretty odd for any photography enthusiast as taking a good photograph is quite impossible because of the poor visibility due to unnecessary obstructions. However, the zoo is well maintained.
