This is a small zoo with limited variety of himalayan range animals. The royal Bengal tiger and snow leopards were worth watching. You can finish seeing all the animals in the zoo in about 30-40 minutes flat.

My children want to see the red Panda and they have enjoyed this place well. We have visited this place in June 2nd week. weather was cloudy but no rain so we have spent time there.

The place is very neat and nicely planned and maintained. A vast variety of birds and animals in a relatively small place and yet not congested...it was amazing ..seeing some animals I had not seen earlier.

The place has beautiful collection of birds, mammals etc. A place for family, however the long walk may be a hindrance and hence may not be suitable for elderly

Yes photography allowed but you have to pay Rs 100 for camera permission

Hi We are planning to travel Gangtok-Pelling-Darjeeling 6-12th June 2017. How is weather in June in sikkim. Those who had traveled in June please share your experience. In June raining b4 mid June or its unpredictable. Pls share your experience.

pls let me know which are the best places to see in Darjeeling. Anyone cal tell Toy Train no and Booking system....is it thru IRCTC. we are planning family tour of Sikkim darjeeling. pls tell about Gangtok, Pelling too. Thanks.

Toy train should preferably booked as early as possible through the web-site irctc co in. Remember to choose DJ as originating station and DJRZ as destination for the round trip to Ghoom Station & back. It is often sold out... More
