I’d love to give this stop 5 stars, but in fairness, I just cant. A long walk through and around this spot yielded 2 birds. We only heard 1 chirping somewhere in the distance. The walk was pleasant enough, taking us through a pine forest,...More

We love the Audubon. It's a great place for photography, bird watching and nature trails. There's also a fresh water lake and beautiful beach access. We've been many times trying to see the alligator and finally we're successful today.

Explore nature to the fullest!!! A must see for ALL bird watchers. Became an amateur watcher myself. Many different ecosystems to explore too. Always a bike ride away while on the island!

Many trails. Take a map so you don't get lost! Some trails are long. One goes to the beach area with a resting area. Ponds with waterfowl and egrets, herons, turtles, etc. Look for owls, osprey and an eagle! Clean and well kept.

Always try to do this when I am there. Nice quite hidden gem to and place to enjoy nature. Easy to walk and tolerable even in Alabama heat and humidity.

We went here on a hot day, walked the trails. Some are shaded, some not. Wear your bug spray! The black flys and mosquitos are bad. The paths to the dunes were fenced off, so don't bother taking the path that leads to a closed...More

The trails are fantastic for walking or running. There are only so many things to do on an island this size and this is a great activity to add to your daily routine if you like to exercise or just relax and go for walks....More

I'm not sure about guided tours. We were there toward the end of the day and didn't see any.
